Received a text message saying, "You have been randomly selected for a BestBuy christmas gift. Get your free $1000 BB gift card here http://goo.gl/AhdMB" Called and there was a female voice that said, "Please state your name and Google Voice will try to connect you." After reading about what many people have said about similar numbers with the same area code I believe this is fake as well.
i got the same text12-13-11@9:00 p m i replied with a text saying:
scam off, Slick/ text me no more . the next day i thought i might have made a thousand doller mistake so i lpulled the web site up today to find othre people calling it fraud, thank you, J.R.
Same message, thought it could be one of those deals where you fill out the survey. I have not even called to verify it was fake after the google autocomplete autocompleted it.
