Yikes, these people won't leave me alone. Call my work and my cell. I to filled out for a payday loan but declined when I read the terms. I noticed they took 19 cents from account and put it back in and then wanted to take more out. I called them to cancel there what ever and the guy hung up on me! I have to change my bank account and phone numbers! What a pain in the you know what. I'm afraid like the other girl they will fraudulently report me to telecheck and I won't be able to write checks anywhere! Very
This person who is calling my home, and my job, and my cell phone, keep changing their name, pretending to be from a law firm, saying that i am being sued, but will not say for what, and they want me to provide my information to them to start making payments.
keeps saying his name is alex and that his from crime invistigation and that i have a law sue against me and that if i do not call him back they are coming to my house n alot of other thngss
This person called me and then called my job four times in one day. Said he was from the crime investigation beareau and that I had felony charges on me for fraud. He talked to HR at my place of employment. At first she would not talk to him then she finally did and he tried to get information from her. She finally took information from him and gave me his number, name andwhat he claimed. She said he talked so fast she couldn't keep up. Told her he did not have my home phone number but she refused to give it to him. I finally called him and he told me it was money I illegally took from Quick Cash Advance. I asked him how much I supposedly owed and he said if I pay him $621.95 it would clear it up. Then I asked him what the original amount was and he said 200-500. My husband got on the phone and told him to send me the paperwork. His reply was, "If I send the paperwork will you send me $500.00? He said no way. If you are real send the paperwork. The man then said to give him our lawyer's info. My husband said send me the paperwork and I will bring it to my lawyer. We ended up hanging up on him. He told my HR he was Justin Clark. At one point he told my daughter his name was Carey. This place is crazy. He even threatened to go after my work.
I too have been receiving calls frm these people. He says his name is Alex Turner and he wants me to talk to someone else from this bureau. They say I have a cash advance that I have been not paid and if I pay them $461.00 it will go away. I almost done it the first time they called becuse I could not understand what they were saying and he had all of my information (name, address, phone numbers,work info, ssn, they had it all) so it scared me. But I wa getting on a plane and asked him to call me back. By this time I had done some research and found out it was a scam. They have called me several times since in the last 3 months, I just get the name and number and tell them my lawyer will be contacting them. Then I dont hear from them for about a month. It still scares me that they have all my info but they havent done anything with it yet. I also askd them to send m paperwork from the company that was suing me and he said if he did it would mean that I agreed I owed them and would have to go to court. I told him I would take care of it one I had the paperwork and he said "ok" and hung up. I have yet to receive any paperwork and no lawsuits. It is just a scam, please do not fall for it. If anyone finds out how to get them to stop please post on here, I would love to know. He changes his name and company everytime he calls, he has been from criminal investigtion, the attorney generals office, some lawyers in Californias office. so beware!
