Call at WORK from this number asking about a contracted person who does not work in our office. Man was "James Franklin" but had such a strong Indian accent that I could not understand him. A lot of background noise as well- I was practically shouting into the receiver. James said he was from some Legal Investigation Department. I knew it was suspicious because the call appeared as 347-960-0616 and THEN as 0000000000000 on my caller ID screen!
I keep getting calls from this so called "Law firm" at my work place saying I owe a debt that I don't owe. The callers always have a thick Indian accent and can't even pronounce my name but they have American names...who are they trying to kid?? The last time they called my work they asked my work to give them my social security number! That's a sure sign of a scam right there!
I'm very tired of being hounded by these scammers! I don't know how or why these scammers can continue getting away with doing this to so many people! They don't have any conscience or morals! I'm at the point where I don't even want to answer any calls on my phone because of this! Something HAS to be done about this!
This number called me and I didn't answer. So when I got a break at work I called them back and they was speaking in that funny accent that noone can understand! So I just sat on the phone to see what else he was going to say and he got mad! Lol so he call me right back and I didn't answer so he left me a message stating the his law firm was going to sue me, put me in jail, put my name on the BlACK LiST! How dare you call my phone and threaten me! I hope this people get caught and FAST! They really did piss me off! How can I owe you anything when you can't even pronouce my name!!
This is a collection agency called PCS out of New York. The are a collection service that uses many tactics to get you to respond. they call your work. they call your home they even call your relatives. They have bought your information from a debt you owe or someone encoured for you because they have all your information including social security number, work information and so on.
By law they can only call your work once after being told not to call anymore the calls must stop. if they do mnot stop call your local police department and file a case report for telephone harrasment. That is just about the only tthing that does work. Your employer only need to tell them to stop calling once. they can be fined up to 1000 dollars per call after that once a police report is filed and a trap is placed on the line to record their calls. You need the service number from the police for that.
Telephpne harrasment is a crime and annoying calls to a place of business can efect your employers business and commerce and the law does not tollerate it and will persue it once you call them..
Yes, these people have a job to do too but violating the law is not the way to accomplish it. Don't put up with these annoying calls. call your local police agency and file a report it works..The will call these people and tell them to stop calling also.
