Scammer. Texted me in response to Craigslist ad. Tried to pull the old cashier's check scam. Last time I put my number out somewhere.

same thing happened to me. The check is being mailed to me. I won't try cashing it. but he thinks I will. how can we get this guy. do I take the check to the police

Responded to a craigslist ad of mine. The text message was too weird.  I told him/her to forget it.  Glad I googled the number!

Just had them try the craigs scam on me.  I doubt taking it to the police will do any good, but worth a try.  These people are evil
