Yep I got the call from two of the phone # they are using. Here is the funny thing. I have a Guy I know that is a IRS agent and I spoke to them today and they said it is a scam I told they person over the phone of my friend at the IRS and he never called back, but someone else did and I told them I have given their phone numbers to the IRS and to expect a visit from the real deal. I don't think they will be calling back any time soon
I just got phone from this# 347 979 8186 saying they are IRS. First I believed but didn't tale long to realize it was scam. I yelled the. You are a Criminal S.. Of B..tell me where are you calling from India or China..SCAMMMMMM
i got a call from them as well. one number showed up on my caller id. in the msg itself, he left 3 phone numbers. all of the numbers were the same except for the last digit. he kept forgetting which number i was supposed to call. i heard the same threats...that i would be arrested, accounts frozen, and everything i owned would be repossessed. he got extremely angry when i told him to take me to court then because i hadn't done anything wrong. he yelled at me and told me to BE QUIET! and that he was sending someone to my job RIGHT NOW to take me to jail and keep me there until i paid my fine. of course, he graciously allowed me to make a payment RIGHT NOW and i wouldn't go to jail. i told him to come and get me and i would see him in court. then i hung up on him. i figured it was a scam, but just to allay my concerns, i did call my tax person and she assured me that it was a scam.
LOL! that's funny. i also think it would be funny if we all called them back and acted all scared while promising them money. then AFTER they think they are gonna get the cash, we can tell them to call our accountant at 1-900-SPANK ME.
