Received call from 347 983 2802 who told me my computer was sending out harmful information and asked me to let him lead me through a process of accessing my computer. When I asked him for his company and information he hung up. Accent was east indian. FCC do something this is an on going issue and they will succeed to get people's info.
Picked up after they called twice today. They advised me they received a report from Windows that I have 5 bad things on my computer and it could cause my computer to corrupt. I asked them if it was my window's OS and they said yes, I then asked if they could confirm my info like my name or anything and he said that all he had was the report back from the computer. I then asked how they obtained my info since I do not own a PC that runs windows. I was advised then that have the wrong number. Beware of these people this is some kind of scam. Obviously before it was electricity discounts and now it is PC support.
Received a call from this annoying number; but refused to pick it up because I can't stand talking to these very HIGHLY ANNOYING people!!!!!! >:-( >:-( I have my phone number on a "DO NOT CALL" list for a reason and yet; these ANNOYING people still call have the nerve to call!!!!! I received a call from this number and ask for me by name to tell me that there was a problem with my PC and he needed to repair it for me over the phone. I told him to go to hell there was no problem with my PC. Be aware this guy was attempting to scam me.
Just called me a few mins. ago, Told me I had Problems with mine, asked how you know, he said cause I with windows.
Then he asked if I had a computer, told him that was nobody business but mine. Then he tells me that I have Problems, I asked what are you going to do about, he said he was not going to do anything, That he was going to walk me through the steps how to do it. I told him I would Take care of it myself. He said bye, have a good day, then he called me the F- - - - r. I said what did you call me, he said I didn't Call you anything, I said well some body there did. Then he said bye again & have a good day, then he called me a M - - - - r F - - - - r. I said what did you call me punk, he said I didn't call you anything, I said tell me where your at, I said I got Something For You. You can do some research on it, maybe on Snoops, Call Windows, I have had this to happen before. I think they try to get you to, do things to your computer, so they can still your information. Windows Does not ever call you unless you call them first, & you tell them to call you back. Do Not Ever Let Them Tell You To Do something to your computer. If You Do They Will Mess Your Computer Up & You!!!
