Have received several calls to lower my credit card interest rates. The first time when I asked what card they were referring to they tried to get me to give them my card info. The second and third time I asked to be removed from their call list and they hung up.
Have received several calls to lower my credit card interest rates. The first time when I asked what card they were referring to they tried to get me to give them my card info. The second and third time I asked to be removed from their call list and they hung up.
Also getting calls from this "scammer." They are so "polite and helpful" until you tell them to remove your phone number from their list and stop calling -- then they abruptly hang up. These calls are coming from Gainsville, FL area code. Is there any way to get these people to stop?

These creeps also call from 407-000-9876 and 402-982-0647. Don't answer if any of those numbers or "Florida call" show up on your Caller ID. (Unless you know someone from Florida who might be listed that way, of course. :) Keep a call log with this info (I've been tracking them, along with other scam or unwanted callers, for more than a year) and report every call to the National Do Not Call Registry (https://www.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx), as well as here and any other site you find that tracks and reports on these numbers.
