I also received a call from this number today. I just didn't answer because i didn't recognize the number. Glad to know that it was a prank. I have established a rule with anyone who knows me -- if they call, and I don't answer because I don't recognize the number, they know to leave me a message. Whoever called from this number didn't leave a message; therefore, I knew that it wasn't legit.
I believe he said his name was Frank Thomas but he was Indian and told me he was calling from (inaudible) and he needed to talk to me about (inaudible). The connection dropped out during both of the inaudible parts. I asked him to repeat and still didn't catch the company name but he said he needed to talk to me about my computer. I said "I don't need to talk to you about my computer." and he said "Ma'am, someone is trying to get in to your computer!" And with that, I hung up.
These are evil people trying to get $$ from innocent people!! This man threatened me and my family and said he was calling from inside my house!! The police were called and I made a complaint. They told me to call my phone company and have the numbers blocked!!
