SCAM! 7/22/2014; 6:18pm This annoying caller from "Technical Department" wanted to warn me about internet problems with my Windows computer. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM! He obviously wanted to get control of my computer to fix it. He was very persistent and after 6-7 minutes of stringing him along, he finally hung up when he realized I was on to him.
Scammer Alert - Mike (foreign male) sounded like he was reading straight a cue card. Technical Support for PCPD (made up) stating that it is very important for him to talk to the owner of the computer in the house. Said this all on the answering machine, apparently he didn't realize that he didn't have a real person. They want to hack and steal information off your computer, do yourself a favor and don't answer the call. Beware!
