claims to be auto department. i am on do not call list.

If you call the number, it gives you the option to be placed on their do not call list.  It is a two step process.

This number called me but I didn't answer it they did not leave a message. I am also on the do not call list but we all know that doesn't help. I never answer a call from a number I do not know. so they can waste thier time all they want.

Called pretending to be a government agency calling about a car I owned.

This company was trying to sell me auto repair insurance for a car I no linger own.  When I told them to stop talking now they told me I could stop living.  This was a very frightining call.
