I got a call today 03-30-2011 From Frank from the United Group. His message says verbatim.
"Hi, this is Frank with United Group." "I've been handed your file with the information you requested."
"Please call me as soon as possible." "(925) 206-3952 ext 1104"
Funny thing is, I didn't request any information
UPDATE!!! These guys are calling people who they think may have past due taxes owed.
They claim to be able to help (for a fee of course) get you a lower balance owed.
I believe (but don't have fact) that they look up people owing the IRS and cold call them.
