They called and left a recorded message saying it's my final warning from the IRS and they are filing a lawsuit against me. I called back and spoke to a woman with a heavy Indian accent saying her name is Rebecca Cooper and I owe over $7000 and the police will come to my house if I don't pay. I reported to the authorities and IRS scam website.
I almost always try to talk with these people and mess with their heads. Waste as much of their time as you can. Time is money to them and the more of their time you can waste, the less time they have to scam others.
I love jacking with these kind of people. I call them and tell them they have to call me back cause I'm borrowing a phone. Then I tell them to hold on while I get my card to pay. Mess with them by giving them too many numbers numbers. Usually try to change the subject and talk about my neighbor and granny in the nursing home. Followed with "I've filed bankruptcy". It usually end with them saying F*** you and hanging up one me. It's so fun
