Again, these people will NOT leave me alone. Called again today (Sunday) at 4:40pm, I did not answer. There was a recorded message left from Darcy Burner again, this time regarding the war in Afghanistan. I finallyl called the number back and there is an automated system where you can press 1 to volunteer, 2 for etc., and zero to "speak to a campaign rep or you do not understand".. I tried twice to do that to beg them to take me off their phone list but both times I just got a fast busy signal and then a disconnect (not surprising). I finally emailed them to an email address found on her website and told them if they didn't leave me alone, I would wage my own campaign on Darcy for harrassing me.
The most sure way to stop this is to NOT vote for that person. I sent emails to both Darcy Burner and "someone" Delbane that I was not going to vote for them because of telephone harassment. Also turned the number in here and to the do-not-call list. I am to the point that if the phone rings, I will not answer unless it is from someone I know.
Yes, I have already voted absentee and did not vote for her. I got another call this morninig from the campaign and emailed them and told them the story -- that I'd requested to be removed from the call list, that they would do it and it would take about 24 hours, and indeed I have not had another call since 7/15/12. Until today. Sigh. They just won't leave me alone.
And I emailed them back and told them exactly why I didn't vote for her.
