I know it looks like a local number but when I look it up it comes up as a "VOIP" call from Longview Wa, If I don't know the number calling I just don't answer, in this way they cant sell my number to someone else as a "working Number". I still think the phone Co should give us a "Only accept call from this number and block all other" instead of just being able to block numbers. This would be a better in the long run and it would cut off all of these strange calls and Telemarketers.
I am really concerned that they are calling to check if we are home so they could break into our home. If you try to call them back they have their # forwarded to US bank Mtg qote. They are call my house 3 times a day and have been calling for monthes. Other #s they had used before were 240-2135, 240-0845, 682-5663 and now this new #. Originally this started with the first phone # I took a survey for a lady. Then a week later they called said they were a small company new to Oak Harbor WA and that they wanted to give me a gift of $200 value she asked if my address was correct she said they would be at my home at 2 that day and she hung up before I could say no. I tried to call back when she hung up and the # was unable to accept calls. They never showed and I am always getting these calls. Really Really frustrated!
We have had this number call several times a day. Husband picked up this morning. Same long pause and "I have the wrong number". I picked up on the second phone call today and told them to stop calling. an hour later, they called again, and I asked who it was. no response.
