Received 2 calls in one day. I finally called back, he argued that he was in Washington, DC when the area code came up as Washington state. He told me they tried to send me notification, I said that they have my address because I file my taxes every year. He them said it was a certified letter so it had to be signed for. When I told him that they leave you a note and you can pick it up at your convenience, he said the police would be at my house in 2 hours.
so I called the number back & he's ask my name so I told him well u called me so u tell me & he kept askin my name I told him he can look up number & he can tell me what my name is long story short I gave him some random name & he was like still trying say some dumb [***] & then he finally said goodbye I said dnt call me back he said I will & I said well I'll block u then he said he has 50nimbers he cal me from ...[***] him stupid sand [***]
Left me a msg saying that my identity has been stolen and to call back and speak to some officer with the irs. I called the number back and the guy hung up as soon as I said hello, he did this twice. On the third time he asked for my number and when I gave it to him he said never mind we don't need you and hung up on me again. He sounded like he was from India, it's definitely some sort of scam.
