You said it yourself - they're scum bags. The DNC does work, with legitimate companies, but it's not a call blocker so it can't keep scam artists from calling you. Only you can do that. Invest in a real call blocker or at the very least, don't answer calls from numbers you don't recognize.

Left a robot voice mail msg on my cell phone from the "IRS" stating ....I have 24 hours to call or I will be arrested...lol. I do not know any law enforcement agency that gives you a courtesy call to let you know what time they plan on arresting you. I really hope people don't fall for this SCAM. Love being able to look up the numbers that try to bother me.
Received a call from this number. A woman stated she is from "DDO Delivery Services" and they have to schedule a delivery of "legal documents" to "serve" me. Obviously they did not have my address. Nor the phone number the called (business land line) is published in any directory. Wherever they got this number - it must have been obtained in bulk from God knows who.
Asked her not to ever call this number again. She was trying to ask me why I do not wish to receive these documents. I said - because you are FRAUD. And hung up.
There is no such a company registered in Washington State.
