same message. Received several times. Very threatening. I think I'm going to answer next time and play with him seeing as my husband is the chief of police in our city. Loser.
Also got one of these calls, though I don't owe anybody squat. It was Eric, the Sheriff of Nottingham Woods or some such crap, with the thick, Asian accent. He also threatened me with good luck, if I didn't call him. Actually, he sounded much too gay to be a threat. In any case, you don't have to look very far, to understand why he can't get a real job. On the other hand, he must be credited for, at least, being one of the more amusing ones.
So, I called him back and told him I was with the IRS and he said you so fooking funny and hung up. I called back and said I wanted to pay my IRS bill and would you please take my credit card number? How much do I owe? And he said 10,000, and I had to send it by moneypak or wire transfer. I asked for the info, and he hung up. Third try (what can I say, I work at home and it's a slow day) and offered to send it and pretended to cry and then asked him how the weather was in Jakarta, he said he's not in Chicago, and called me a B.
