Just received a call from this number at 9:45 pm. A heavy accented guy. They wanted to confirm that I still receive my mail at my address (they even said my address). Wanted to send me a $100 gift card. Dumb SCAMMERS!
all the calls from over sea's....India, phillipines...etc...they are being channeled thru this 360 area code.....they buy all ur information from people who work at the credit card companies...they make a large amounts of $ doing this.....it is illegal to do so but how do u catch some one carrying out sheets of paper.with thousands of no.'s & all ur data....that is where it has to be stopped.....at the source....there is another outfit that calls every 6weeks or so....same scam...but different approach....this is a 800 no....I have received these calls mainly within a 12hr. period.....say 8:00am to 10:00pm....the cell phone co. says there is no way to keep them from calling..except to change ur phone no. or u do as I do.........when the call comes in answer it.....but as the connection is made u start to to call the person{ they r always female } u say & I quote[myself here].." u stupid [***] [***]..leave me the [***] alone!!!..." u scream this into the phone....they will hang up...I have been in stores doing this....people look at me really funny[scared] funny........but i do not care anymore..now when u do this it puts these people off fore about 6 to 8 weeks...then are at me again...this has been going on fore about 10months now...it has became a game with me ...i will prevail.........
Feb 9 Called 10 - 12 times today. Sometimes not on line, others looking for daughter. Couldn't find out their purpose, but something about her Visa card. . . .
After many calls I informed the live person what I knew of them from this web site and have 'reported' them. Calls still came in - either 3 or 4 of the total.
Following that exchange, the caller called every hour, then every half hour. I blocked the number, but my system allows one ring as it is blocking.
Finally, I turned on the phone when I when to bed. . . .
This number has been calling me none stop since 6 in the morning. I had finally picked the call up and right when I did it hung up. This is really starting to get annoying and pissing me off,I don't know how they got my number but I need the calls to stop coming.
