Never respond by pressing a number to be removed from their list. By pressing 1 or 9 or whatever they are verifying that a real person owns and responds to that number. They will then sell that number to other telemarketers that will start calling you more frequently. If it is a number that you do not recognize then let them leave a message. Anything that is important will leave a message. When it turns out to be recorded message about business loans block them from calling you. Google search on how to block numbers for your type of phone.
Called four times in a row from (360) 215-7319. Called about a special promotion. Number may be spoofed. When I called back, there was only a recording to press "1" if I wanted to be removed from their list.
Just got a call from this number too, didn't answer, was able to Google it while it was ringing. Thank god for this site, and thanks everyone for sharing their experiences. I hate that it's so easy for people to harass others.
Just got a call from this number, but Google'd it and discovered that it was one of those notorious scammers who believe that the National Do Not Call List was published just to give them a list of valid phone numbers.
Thanks to this site (and others like it), I chose not to answer and blocked future calls from this number.
