Caller said that I sent for a subscription to Autoweek, and didn't include payment. I told him that I had not sent for a subscription and that he was a scammer. He then asked me something, possibly it was about the car I own, but when I asked him to repeat what he said, he hung up, I do take Autoweek, but I deal directly with them.
Called at dinner time. Of course! Didn't answer it and they didn't leave a message. I believe this exchange is Bellingham, WA. The caller I.D. says "V21016395700". I was surprised to find that it has not yet been reported 800notes. Has anybody else received a call? I'm always curious about the latest scam from telephone crooks.

Thanks ronmil. I figured it was one of the tired old scams, but I didn't know which one. They're phishing for credit card numbers. Common, garden variety crooks. Since I'm sure what it is I'll report the robodial violation to State and Federal Attorneys General and block the number.
They just called my cell phone but I sent it directly to voice mail of course they didn't leave one. I am so sick and tired of getting these calls. I started saving the numbers in my directory calling them spam and clicking on "send to voicemail" option and after a couple of tries they give up but then a new one starts.
