Got a call from "Michael". He sounded very bored. When he asked if I was responding to the lower interest rate on my credit card, I responded with a falsely enthusiastic, "Why, yes, I am". When he asked me the balance on my card, I responded that that was a rather personal question. Without another sound uttered by either of us, he hung up.
I was disappointed, because I wanted to keep him on the line for as long as possible. I'll have to work on my rountine...
Of course, trying to call them back at the number results in a recorded message stating that the line is not in service.
Just got a call from 360-222-1927. I answered and a recorded woman's voice said to push the number nine on my phone if I was interested in lowering the interest rate on my credit card. I pushed 9 without thinking that this could be a scam of some kind, just to find out what it was about, . Someone answered and said, "Did you push 9 to see about lowering your interest rate?" I said, "I wanted to find out what this was all about." They promptly hung up. I called the number listed on my caller ID, and a recorded voice said that this number was not in service; then a different voice came on and said "South Whidbey"
