Caller ID came up as ANONYMOUS, and the caller said he was from State Farm. Before he had a chance for anything else, I informed him I wasn't interested and hung up. When I checked w/ State Farm agents in the area, they didn't recognize the calling #.
TRY THIS THE NEXT TIME THEY OR ANY OTHER SCAMMER CALLS.... (it always works for me).
When you see their phone number come up on your Caller I.D. answer in a loud booming and commanding voice.... "STATE POLICE, WHAT IS YOUR EMERGENCY?!" That will shock the hell out of these people. And since they are trying to scam you, you should do something similar back by telling them that this is an emergency phone number of the state police and if they call back they will be cited. Then hang up! They shouldn't be calling again!
i got a call from 360-227-4619. The caller ID said it was from Belfair, a city in Washington. The person said he was from Farmers insurance in Silverdale, WA. He made an appt for a agent to come by my home at 5 pm on Thursday. No one showed up. Still waiting for a return call from Farmers to learn if they know what is going on.
I got a call from this number at 7:27pm EST and a female of Indian decent asked for me by name and then informed she was a attorney and calling about my debt worth $40,000, I asked her what debt I didn't know what she was talking about and when I informed her that i had no debt she hung up on me. When my husband tried to call them back, he got a message saying this number has not been activated, Very fishy to me!
