Received call twice, no message left. Called back after reading comments here. The line was picked up instantly and rep asked if I was Carrie. After saying yes told her that our call was being recorded for quality control which she then said the same thing back. It's for auto insurance quotes. Told her I'm not interested and hung up.
Auto Insurance sales. Two years ago I tried to get a quote on the internet for insurance. I still receive calls. Nothing I can do to stop them either. Once they call I block them. But that doesn't stop the next person who buys an a list of contacts that is two years old from calling me.
They aren't even trying to sell you insurance. The person you first talk to will try to get as much personal information as they can from you and then they will transfer you to somebody else who will use the hard sell to try and get you to buy insurance that is overpriced and from everything I read will do everything in their power not to cover your claim.
I got one phone call from these morons today I called back and he tried talking crap to me. I basically said is this a debt collector wouldn't divulge my name or information. Guys this is a SCAM DEBT CALLER do not answer this number and don't give them any info pretend you are not the individual take a message and get all their info you can and report it to the state attorney general of where ever you live best advice to give to you, and if its a law abiding debt collector you can always ask them to stop and assist. Ask them to send you a piece of mail regarding the debt. I doubt the people calling from this particular number will not do that. On that note just don't answer the call at all to them it will seem like its just a dead phone line.
Received call this morning, no message. Same # called about Aug. 8th, again no message. This is the 4th or 5th call I received from Shelton, Wash. over the past 30 days (which is how long the # stays on my phone - gotta love Caller I.D.). If I was looking for employment, I do believe telemarketing would be WAYYYY down the list of choices.
