I've been receiving calls from this number for several weeks. Answered today, an automated message is played about lowering interest rates for credit cards. It said to press 1 to speak with an operator. I did, and asked to be removed from the call list. I kid you not, the "operator" mimicked every word I said and repeated it back to me. He said, "what, you called me. I don't have a list. " I asked to speak with a manager (clearly there isn't one) and he said, "no, I want to speak with a manager." Super strange experience and this is obviously a huge scam. Blocked the number and making sure my number is registered on do not call lists. What a pain.
Received a call from 360-248-9985. Didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. I either put them on a reject list or send them a message that I don't accept calls from unknown numbers. Samsung Galaxy phone has saved my life.
Telemarketer or other nuisance caller. Only answered because I recently replaced my phone and thought it looked like a friend's number. Robocall intro says it's from "card services" but does not identify a company/bank it supposedly represents. When I hung up at this point, I was called back within 5mins by same number with same recording. Answered in hopes of finding a "do not call option" or some other way to stop the callback. After the first part, it goes on to offer a lower interest rate and that this is the "last warning" of an expiring limited-time offer, followed by a request to press 1 to talk to a representative. No other menu options, identifiers, or other hallmarks of legal bank robocalls either. Heard no option other than for #1 by the end of the recording so I hung up again. Apparently, listening to the recording stopped it from calling back but it probably would have worked better if I ignored the first call.
WARNING--BEWARE!! These callers are B I G credit card criminals, known as the card service scammers! Under NO circumstances, give these lowlifes your credit card number, or you will regret it forever!
