just received a call from this number. some guy claiming to be from "the auto protection department" .... no "company name" just "the auto protection department". claims to work with various companies to provide protection plans for vehicles nation wide. he said he needed to get the milage for "the vehicle" (yes, he said "the vehicle") so that he could verify the protection coverage that we have.
he continued talking while i said "uh, sounds pretty shady to me...i don't think so." and i hung up.
