Got a call from 360-255-7375 early morning. Did not answer it. A female left a message, saying something about a case and instructed me to call them back. Did not call back.
Two automated calls today; one at 5:55 am! Am so sick of this. Has been happening from different phone numbers for several years, always with foreign accents. Always threatening to have me carted off to jail if I do not respond for some tax irregularity. IRS ALWAYS sends a letter, never calls, and never threatens jail. My local police department said to contact the U.S. Treasury Department. I am off to look up their website now. I am old and ill; also my mom is very sick so I was afraid this was an emergency call about her. It is illegal to make telemarketing calls before 8 am and after 5 pm, although this is hardly telemarketing! What they are doing is totally illegal anyway. Hope that person who said gave out cc and ss info was kidding!
