March 9, 2015 - received a call from 360 262-6451 - lm and it said to call to find out more about my case. I called no answer then I thought I'd better ck it put. This is a scam .
this guy has called me from two different numbers I know it is a scam.. while he was on the phone i was contacting the IRS on another line. I then told him that I just verified with the IRS that this is a scam he hung up but that did not stop him from calling agian a week later from another number.... I feel for people who wont know to just hang up on him...
Received a call today stating the IRS is suing and I should call 360-262-6451. Sounded like it might be one of those computer generated voices. It was so obviously a scam. I hope no one falls for it. Everyone seems to be choosing Political Call as the call type. Scam call needs to be added as a choice. It's not really a political call and prank call doesn't really describe it either.
Report the Calls to the real IRS here:
•report the incident to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration at 800-366-4484.
•You can also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at FTC.gov. Add "IRS Telephone Scam" to the comments in your complaint.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
