Selling dining table on craigsllist as soon as i posted it. Somebody texted me from this number and wanted to use paypal. I feel it was a scam. I said cash only havent heard back

Good for you. Gets rid of the dead wood. Craigslist & Kijiji are not eBay. No need to take Paypal. Local. Cash. In person.

Also received a text at 5am PST saying they wanted to use Paypal to purchase my couch that was on craiglist.  Feeling it is a big scam to.  Thanks those who have weighed in

Hi All. Yes, this person is a scammer. Also received a text a little while ago saying her name is "Amy" and Amy wishes to buy my couch and wants to pay through paypal. Immediately said I only accept cash and of course have not heard back. This person at telephone number 360-262-7136 is a con/scam artist. Beware of anyone asking to pay for non-ebay transactions through paypal.

Same scenario for me this morning. "Amy" wanted my couch too and pay via Paypal. I replied cash only. Thanks for the notes.
