They same message was left on my answering machine twice with the call back number 360-283-5246 and a message stating I was being sued by the IRS. I was pretty sure it was a scam, but thanks to everyone for the confirmation.
Multiple calls and VMs stating that "they" ARE the IRS??? They left call back no. 360-283-5246? Its annoying AND a huge attempt to scam and intimidate people. Nice try.. losers
Got 3 calls from 360-283-5246 in one day saying IRS is filing lawsuit. They left 3 voicemails on my answering machine. This is ridiculous. Thanks for posting this message/alert.
I had 2 such calls today from 2 different numbers... tried the ftc.gov website and was unable to report the complaint. Tried fcc.gov website unable to report scam. Tried irs.gov/unable to report the scam. HOW IN THE WORLD DO WE STOP THE PHONE SCAM IF IT CAN'T BE REPORTED ANYWHERE... DON'T CALL BACK - 360-851-1350 or 360-283-5246.... both #s come up on Google as scams but no one tells you how to stop it or REPORT it!
