Seems to be a scam. Received an automated call, something about a summons for my mother. When I called back, the conversation kept being interrupted with hold music...spoke to a Justin Cole who said somebody is trying to use my mothers SSN for fraud. Gave me a direct number of 509-842-3471 ext 3010 to call. Upon research of the numbers, appears to be a scam.
Recieved a call. The company didnt identify themselves stated I had received an online payday loan in 2009 and never paid it back. Gave me the last SSN an old employer, an address I never lived at and an email that isnt mine. Stated that if I didnt pay them 300 dollars I would be responsible for all court costs and what not since I tried to defraud someone. I never took a loan out they couldnt even give me the name of the Pay Day loan company. Im not stupid I requested it in writing and gave them an email address. NO email I called again reqeusted an email still no email. Called again and asked what the name of their company was the man stated IMS and then he asked me my name and I asked him what the company does he got really mad and said it was a business and hung up on me. Called another day from another phone pretended I was calling for a doctors office and asked who I was calling the lady said RMS. There is nothing on my credit report and it would be. This is a scam.
