Just received a call from this number as well, 360-322-4858, informing me that the IRS was trying to get in touch with me and this was my final notice that the IRS was filing a law suit against me. And to immediately call this number. only the phone number showed up with Washington as the location below it.
Got a call from this number saying they were the Internal Revenue Service and a lawsuit was being filed against me. I called the number back and a man with a heavy accent answered Internal Revenue Service. He verified my name and address. I was told that an error in my 2013 Federal Tax Return was discovered, IRS had filed a lawsuit against me. He stated that my bank account will be frozen, my drivers licensed revoked and an arrest warrant will be issued with my local Sheriff Department. I asked why I had not been notified by mail, He said I had been. And, that I can stop this action. I told him I would call the IRS on a 800 direct line that I have and didn't let it go any further.
Said IRS filing lawsuit against me. Voice was foreign male. I said the IRS would have mailed me a notice if that was the case and they said they did. I said it sounded like a scam and they shouldn't be calling people like that and hung up. It has to be a scam as I am not hard to find to send via mail.
