It seems the ftc will only take action the scam directly affects them. I read an article claiming the ftc shut down a nest of roaches claiming to be with the ftc and working to get scam their victims money back.
Maybe the lesson here is if these, being too kind, cockroaches come after you, you get to deal with them in whatever manner you believe is best. Hopefully your manner will be excruciating permanent.
What is the matter with so many of you,the do not call list is not a magic spell that prevents someone from calling you it was set up for legit telemarketers,they must purchase the list from the FTC then scrub their calling list of these numbers, the people calling you are CRIMINALS they do not care about no call list they could clear millions before they are caught if ,they are caught ,you do the math, no jail time low fines if any for them crime does pay that's why we have so many of the scammers calling now, in the old days you had armed robbers robbing banks,high dollar homes Jewell outlets and the like with long jail terms if caught these are the new robbers but without jail time
