Received a call from Account Card Services, 360-322-6688. Like usual, I kindly ask person to not hang up on me, and I ask to be removed from their calling list. Like usual, the person hung up on me.
Have received calls multiple times. Have reported to Do Not Call List which is worthless.
Claims to be card company and this is my last notice. Sure wish that was the case. Hangs up when you try to talk to them.
>> Have reported to Do Not Call List which is worthless. <<
Incorrect.
However, it is evident that your understanding of the DNC list is sadly lacking. I suspect you have difficulty understanding other things, as well. Is it a reading disability, or a comprehension challenge?
The DNC list does not automatically block calls. Instead, it provides a list of "do not call" phone numbers to legitimate telemarketers who pay a fee for the list.
The DNC list exempts political callers, survey organizations, charities and companies with preexisting business relationships, but these organizations might have their own, internal Do Not Call list (ask them).
The DNC list is not effective against criminals, spammers and scammers, because those people do not subscribe to the DNC list, and do not care if you are on or off that list.
Its purpose is to stop calls from legitimate telemarketers, and it does a pretty good job at that.

* Do you believe the infamous "Card Services" callers are legitimate?
