I receive a call from Alpine at least once a day. Last Friday, I asked that our number be removed from their call list, and the man o the other end asked, "Why?" The call today was a hang-up. So I called the number back and blasted rock music into the receiver. Yea, not so professional, but I am tired of annoying phone calls. I don't understand why a company would continue to call back once you've said, "No." That really makes me want to do business with them.
When these people call and say the have a representative in your area tomorrow, just tell them that you're at a different address now and send them to a bogus address. I have a postal mailbox at a mail store and they already think that is my business address so I don't even have to fake it. If enough people did this the reps would be running all over town and not getting anything accomplished.
I called the 800# you gave and she was very polite and took down both our numbers and said she would have it removed... hopefully they will not call again
