This is supposedly a Salute or Salu Credit card debt collector. Global out of Washington state. They call and call and call and hang up when I answer the phone. I called the number to see who it was calling me and the guy wanted me to verify my social security number, date of birth and address. I told him no, I would not give that kind of identifying information over the telephone, especially not to someone I could not verify who they said they were. He started yelling at me telling me it was no big deal for me to give him identifying information over the phone and I told him that perhaps it wasn't a big deal for him, but for me, being a victim of identity theft, it is a big deal and I'm not going to do it. I told him to send me a letter so I can verify the debt and he yelled at me some more and told me he was going to go after me for the debt. Whatever that means. I stood my ground though and gave nothing over the phone.
