they called asking if i was (insert name here) I responded with who is this? every time they'd say who it was the connection would cut out. but the rest of the time i could hear them fine. they then said something along the lines about a job for me and again i asked who it was they tried to spell out their name and the connection started cutting out again so i couldn't tell who it was that was calling. the lady then kept repeating that the call was being recorded. (but not what for) i then asked how they got my number and the lady refused to tell me. i responded with something along the lines of this is very suspicious and rather than fall victim to fraud i think i should hang up.. (i then search this number and it came back being owned by an 80+ year old lady again suspicious) this is when i get a text message from a different number saying the call was about offering me a job. they didn't respond to messages sent in response.. well.. while more work would be nice, the number of fishing scam red flags with the call says it's a trap.
