My son received a call from this same number claiming to have $9000 in grant money for him and to call his manager back to claim the funds. Here's the first clue it's a scam: When has the government ever randomly called citizens to inform them over the phone that they were eligible for a grant or money of any kind? Never. That's what FAFSA is for people!
