This is a scam!!!! And scary for senior citizens receiving these calls. The IRS never calls - they send letters describing any payment due and offer a phone number if you wish to call them. And they never use a recorded message for communication.
I got a call 10 mins ago from this number. The recorded msg stated IRS will be filing a law suit. Called this number but had an engaged tone. Presume it's a scam.
I have received two calls in two days stating that they are the IRS with a "final notice"....lawsuit pending and to call the number. Sounds like they are really ramping up their efforts to scam people out of their hard earned money. Scumbags
