There needs to be something done to these SLEAZEBAGS who prey on vulnerable persons hoping to scam them out of credit information!! They should be PROSECUTED and FINED time in addition to being INCARCERATED for enough time so they hesitate to do it again and again and again.,
Caller stated he was the IRS. Had an Indian accent. I asked if he was in the US. He said are YOU in the US? Asked if he was American. He said are YOU American? Odd behavior for an IRS representative. He asked for my name and I told him I would not give him any information due to IRS scammers, and asked why they would leave a voicemail stating I had a lawsuit instead of sending a letter. He hung up on me.
I received several calls from the same Indian man claiming they had a law suit against me. When I told him I called the IRS and they told me it was a scam the guy hung up on me!
