5 AM on a Sunday, awakened by this guy who said he just had a dream. At that hour I was disoriented and believed I actually knew him, if only I could figure out who it was. I asked him if it was a good dream. He said "yes, the kind where you can't get back to sleep". I asked what happened in the dream. He said I was in it. I asked what I looked like. He said I had on a Baker's jacket and was baking chocolate chip cookies. He asked if I'd baked cookies lately and I replied that I had baked Snickerdoodles just last week. He asked if I was angry for him waking me at 5AM and I said no. He said "Is this Shelly"? I said no. I said "I don't think I know you, who is this"? He said it was Arron. He asked if he'd called the right number and I told him no and he apologized and we said our goodbyes. I promptly removed my number from CL ad.
This grown man masked his voice obviously. The police need to do something about him. He not only is a prank caller, stalker, rude...he lies about were he is, who has had his phone. I would alert police and police psychics, and he should be profiled, I believe they will find missing people and this is one link.
Even if copy cat craigs list stalker, this man is deliberately stalking ppl. Plz do not be the wrong person and answer his calls, he had called from two other numbers trying to fake his voice, to answer, sells, rooms to Trent, he has used three different names, and has lost his temper quickly when he don't get his way. Alert others.

This guy did the same thing to me. Called at 5:57am. He had my name. I had been sleeping and was trying to figure out who he was. He said he had a dream and that I was in it. I said "What?" He said "An erotoc steam, you know the kind." I asked "Who is this?" He said "Don't you know?" "Michael." I hung up. I too had posted a ride share on Craigslist however did not use my mame in the post. Not sure how he got my name. He is a CREEP.
This person needs to get some help. Obviously troubled. This is a strange compulsion he has. Why are so many males so sexually screwed up??? Peeping toms, indecent exposure, the list goes on.
Be nice to be able to stop him from waking people up. I had posted for a rideshare on craig's list as well.

Impressed, but I can see where it can get really scary and I'm sad that you don't realize how abusing familiarity and (often times loneliness) can traumatize the people you are exploiting. The excitement of getting caught, the secrecy, but ultimately I think you are sad and lonely yourself. Why else would you invest the hours continuing with dumbass, trusting people like us that believe in the genuine human connection (do you do it for $$, giggles, trophy recordings, storytelling) ?? Just leaves me with a few questions but I think I'll box you into the category of people that need to get out and experience more genuine love, and not exploitation. Interesting stories, sorry that so many people are being conned. A big [***]! Wow, I KNOW you have to be making bank with a game like that! Hilarious, and pretty fantastic fantasy play. However, while you're gaining a sense of empowerment and control, others are losing their sense of security and trust in humanity. You have to live with yourself, and look over your shoulder that someone would take the same from you. Just curious now as to what job title you are going to give yourself the next time someone asks you where you have to work tomorrow. That door was wide open, rather pathetic to just hangup. Called my number and my mom's at about 5am this morning.I didn't answer, but my mom did. This guy was acting like she should know who he was. Said his name was Michael. Unlike most other people posting here, neither my mom nor I have ever had our numbers on CL. Don't know how he got our numbers, but we don't know him.
