Checked number online... Have received calls from this number (Washington state) as well as a Washington, D.C. number lately. Both numbers connected to fraud. I decided to have a little fun so I returned the call to this number. I got a young-sounding male with a foreign accent. I said "you just called this number?"; he responded with a surprised, confused mumble & hung up.
I waited a few minutes, called back, & when he answered I said " If you just got this number you might want to have the phone company give you another number. This number is linked to a governmental agency I.R.S. fraud scam.". He hung up the phone like it was a hot potato! Hee Hee...
