I just got a phone call a short time ago. I answered it because caller ID said The Home Depot. I do a lot of business with them. To my surprise and disgust it was not Home Depot. It was someone spoofing their phone number and one of those scam calls saying that I had recently stayed in one of their resorts. It's a scam because I have not stayed anywhere in anyones resort...I hardly ever travel anywhere and it's usually just somewhere local here in the Pacific Northwest. It really makes me angry that these scammers seem to know who I have phone contact with. Gee, is Comcast selling information as to whom we get phone calls from and where I shop online? This is really scary in a way when I think about it. I'm really keeping close track of all my online transactions and my bank account.
