A couple of weeks ago, I accidently picked up a call from an area code I do business in, but did not immediately recognize the number. Shame on me. It was a robodialer, looking for 'live' telephone numbers to sell to the telemarketers. Since then, I can almost set my watch by the day and time they call. You can bet there is no real person at this number, but merely a spoof to mask the real origin.
These calls used to irritate me back when I expected the DNC list to actually mean something. Once I realized it was just another law that isn't enforced but working people still get taxed to pay for the government agency that is supposed to go after these lowlifes, well I just decided life is too short to be mad at either. Compared to our government becoming the monster that will not obey, these telephone chislers are small time amateurs..
