An automated recording saying the IRS is filing lawsuit against me.  That's funny...I got a refund from the IRS.  The recording said to call them back to learn more about this.  Okey dokey!
Will be blocked immediately.  I've had these calls on my cell phone and it's laughable when you hear the IRS agent with a heavy Mid-Eastern (India?) accent.  Not too convincing they work for the US federal government.

I had 3 calls on answering machine.  Two from this number and 1 from 202-864-1311.  All the same crack from IRS.  Don't believe it.  Look up the other number and see all the calls made from that number.  Stupid humans are targeting old people again trying to get free money.

I received a portion of a message from this number. The message evidently started before my voice mail started recording, so all I got was that is was in reference to a case and to call 360-450-0309. When I called, the person with a foreign accent answered with a simple "Hello." I mentioned that I had received a message from this number and asked was it a business. He stated it was the IRS (lots of conversation noise in the background like a call center). I asked "You're the IRS and you don't state that when you answer the phone?" He said "What?" and hung up. The Do Not Call Registry does not work against criminals not abiding by laws in the first place.

Then I decided to have a little fun with them. Called the number back to ask them to send me some of the illegal money they're collecting. They wouldn't answer the first time (let it ring for nearly 2 minutes). I called again, he answered with "Internal Revenue Service." Told them I wanted to know how to get in on collecting some of the illegal money they were getting. He asked did I want to be his partner!!! I pretended to go along with it to see what he would say. He asked me questions about would that be easy money for me. I told him yes, that they evidently had a good scam going calling people pretending to be the IRS and getting them to send them money and that I needed to supplement my income. He asked what I did. I told him I worked in education and that about $40,000 a year just wasn't enough. He asked again if I wanted to be his partner, I replied again that I wanted to get in on what they were doing to get money. He told me I had to marry him! Well, isn't that an interesting way to citizenship!! That's when I let him know he was being scammed back, told him it was BS, did he have any idea how illegal what they were doing is, and told them to never call my number again.
