Left two messages today stating they were IRS and had filed a lawsuit against us and to conact them immediately. Did not return call. IRS does not work like that!
Robo-message left on answering machine warning of trouble with IRS. Called the number and was warned of a pending lawsuit because of falsely filed return. Luckily I am disabled and do not file returns, so the scam was ineffective, but it sure was scary until I figured it out.
2 voice messages yesterday with claim of pending lawsuit by IRS. One call this morning which I answered and hung up immediately. How can these folks be stopped? My block call list is full on my phone.
