Thanks for posing this, guys. I was freaked out at first! He didn't even get the chance to ask me for money because I just asked him so many questions. The call ended with him saying that he'll be putting a warrant out for my arrest and then hung up on me.
he had a very thick accent,,,could barely understand,,,said he was with the DEA,,and he had closed down an online pharmacy,and I should call him back....This is really scary stuff. Glad I found this web site.
i had another call about six months ago,,,,i picked up the phone,,,but he keep saying i would be intoxicated ( he meant incarcerated ) so this was my big clue that he wasn't dea agent.
Just got a call from the same guy...around 1:00pm Eastern Time - today. How funny...actually thought he could threaten me into wiring him money from Western Union - and I had to stay on the phone with him the whole time! Ha! What a turd.
I just received a message from DEA guy. I called the # back and it was a a girl speaking Spanish. Told her I didn't speak Spanish. She said in bad English that she was with a travel agency, and did I have a confirmation number. I explained about the call I got from their number. She didn't seem to understand so I hung up. Also glad I found this website!! It was scary and then weird!
I got a call from some guy with a Spanish accent saying he was a DEA special agent. He evn gave me a badge#! Investigating an online pharmacy, people were in jail and had testified against me. Said he had officers outside both my workplace and my home and depending on the answers that I gave him in the next few minutes would determine if I would spend the next 2 or 3 years in jail or not! He really started to scare me when he rattled off a credit card# I supposedly used years ago... well, it was nothing like any card# I ever had so I took a chance he was a fake and hung up on him! Googled the # and found this site... thank God! I've had 3 calls so far all from different numbers. These people need to be reported! The call type for this is THREAT which is not a choice in the call type list.
