Received a call for two boarding passes for participating in a 10 question public opinion poll that would take only a minute (although to tell me that took 40 seconds).  Fog horn blaring in the background super annoying.  Even if they were legit (I doubt it), why in the world would you have a noise that makes your basic instincts want to hang up?

Yes push 3 to be "taken off" their list, or is it just a confirmation that you are actually a person opening yourself up to a barrage of new calls.

Calls are computer dialed by combining every possible combination of numbers - so they don't need to know who they are calling, they just call whoever is at the other end of that combination of numbers.

Does the "dial 3" still work if the call was computer originated? I would love it if it did.

GOT CALL from this number at 3:19, Feb 7, no message.Very annoying. I was just about to discover a new proof of Fermat's last theorem, and now it is all gone.
