It's a cruise thing. They try to fill up unsold rooms on cruise ships by offering them for free to people. You just pay to get to the cruise and back...and a nominal fee for all your food and stuff while on the cruise. It's legit and I have some friends who have done it, but the rooms they are filling are bottom of the boat, no window, not even a porthole kind of rooms. Either way they get your number from a variety of sources. Someone may have sold them your information. I am pretty sure my friends who went on one had to give a list of refferals or something and my number was involved. So lucky me I get foghorn calls once a month.
They want your credit card number or bank account number so that they can collect the
tax that will be due for your FREE trip
Of course your bank account will be empty or your credit card will be maxed out.
Received a call today (6/29/2012) at 10:19am. Did a reverse number look-up. It came up as Victorian Regalia from Port Angelas, Washington. Tried to look up company on internet...nothing. This, along with everything that I have read on here, points to a SCAM!!! Definitely will not answer any calls from them.
