Just another a--hole caller trying to strip you from your money. Don't answer, call the Feds don't call list and register all your phones, including cells.
The site - http://www.surveycruise.com/ - is hosted through GoDaddy and registered by 'DomainsByProxy.com' which was set up by GoDaddy's founder to allow people to hide their registration information and prevent action in the case of unsolicited or illegal action by the actual registrant. So perhaps assertive and repeated complaints to GoDaddy or DomainsByProxy would help.
We apologize for the inconvenience. We have proactively moved forward to solve this situation by placing 6159440815 on our internal Do Not Call list. You will stop receiving the opportunity to participate in voluntary surveys/opinion polls from us. Per your request we have removed your number from our research list.
Please Note: Although Telephone Surveyor's are exempt from calling numbers listed on the Federal Do Not Call registry, United Public Opinion Group complies, and drops consumers who have registered every 31-days. We update our records by the 2nd day of every month. Please review some of the following information below that might explain why you may be receiving calls. Thank you for notifying us so we could address this issue, and we hope you might find the following information useful. Once again we apologize for the inconvenience.
Sincerely,
Public Relations Department
Here is some important information regarding the Federal Do Not Call registry.
If the call is for the sole purpose of conducting a survey, it is not covered. Only telemarketing calls are covered — that is, calls that solicit sales of goods or services. (We do not offer the sale of goods or services. On occasion we offer complimentary incentives for participating that NO NOT require the sale or purchase of goods or services)
From the date you register telemarketing companies (not telephone surveyors) have 31-days to take your number off of their calling lists.
The National Do Not Call Registry is only for personal phone numbers. Business-to-business calls and faxes are not covered by the National Do Not Call Registry.
If your number is disconnected, disconnected and reconnected or you move and are assigned a new number you will need to re-register. The system automatically removes numbers that are disconnected or disconnected and reassigned.
To verify that your number is registered please go to:
