Answered call from 360-464-2124, after pause a man came on the line and rattled off a bunch of info about the number of vets committing suicide daily and other things. I repeatedly asked for the organization name, and he finally said "Vets First." There is no listing for this organization on Charity Navigator. The guy kept rambling on, I hung up.
No voice at first, then after I kept saying hello, man said he was representing some veteran's organization. I told him I'd read that calls like this might be a scam and he hung up.

It's amazing that I still pay for a home phone AKA landline, just so we can say, whoever is calling surely has the wrong number. Nobody I know would ever call the house phone. Simply in order to have cable Internet.
